Missions

As Christians, we are called to do the work of Christ in the world. As such, St. Luke's is heavily involved in mission work. To find out more about any of these projects, please contact Larry Bailey at 694-2571.

Kenya
We support the mission work of Bill and Jerri Savuto, who are working to bring education and medical services to the people of Kenya. Much of the work we do helps support the children who have been orphaned by AIDS. We hope to have another trip scheduled in 2011.

McCurdy School
A team will spend the week of July 25-31, 2010, at McCurdy School , in Espanola , NM .  You are welcome to go with us.

Christmas in Action
We have several work teams who help repair the homes of elderly people each year in April. Work has included painting, carpentry, roofing and siding.
