Disciple Bible Studies

The Disciple Bible study program is designed to develop biblically nourished leaders, committed to living as disciples of Jesus Christ, guided into service and ministry.
Each of the four phases of Disciple Bible study is built on small-group dynamics. The process requires daily reading of designated Scripture, note-taking, and prayer in preparation for the weekly group meeting.

Disciple Bible Study I meets on Wednesday's from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in room 214/Keystone. Disciple Bible Study II meets on Wednesday's from 6:15 - 8:15 pm in room 209/United Travelers.
Disciple Bible Study III meets on Wednesday's from 6:15 - 8:15 pm in room 211/Agape SS.

Prime Timers meet the third Tuesday of each month at 11:45 am in the Fellowship Hall. Meetings consist of a covered dish lunch, a program on topics of interest and recognition of birthdays and anniversaries followed by announcements. Please see the chart below for a calendar of days of meetings

Believing that God calls us to pray for one another and for the church, members of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry come together once a week to share and pray for the needs of the church and for its members, and concerns for the community both local and world-wide. We also continue to pray during the week. We respond to prayer requests called into the church or recorded on the prayer request cards and we update the prayer calendar printed in the Messenger each week. We continue to study scripture to increase our understanding of God's direction in our prayers, to improve our ability to discern his guidance and to call on the Holy Spirit for the boldness to act in His will.

Members of St. Luke's who feel called to pray for others are invited to be involved in this ministry. Please contact the church.
