Meet the Staff

Richard W. Edwards, Senior Pastor Richard has been the Senior Pastor at St. Luke’s since 1997. He is the primary preacher for Sunday worship and oversees the pastoral and administrative functions of the church. Richard loves the people who make up the St. Luke’s congregation and the excitement they bring to his work. Toni Bailey, Associate Pastor for Evangelism and Outreach Toni joined the St. Luke’s staff in June of 2007. She loves the laughter, support and fellowship she has found in the St. Luke’s family.

Larry Bailey, Associate Pastor for Visitation and Special Cares Larry has been part of the St. Luke’s staff since 2002. He loves that his sprit is fed when he leads various classes and studies around the church. A self-proclaimed “klutz” around the house, Larry loves to garden and read biographies in his spare time. Rachel Burton, Music Assistant Rachel joined the St. Luke’s staff in 2006. She leads the children’s music programs at St. Luke’s and is also a licensed Musikgarten instructor. Having individual contact and building relationships with the children at St. Luke’s is what Rachel loves the most about her work. Aside from her passion for working with children, another interesting fact about Rachel is that she was born without any bottom molars or wisdom teeth. Cameron has been with St. Luke’s since 2006. He works primarily with our 18-35 year-old age group and loves seeing young adults grow together in a community of faith. Janis
King, Director of Children’s Ministries
A former high school all-region band member and long time member of St. Luke’s, Janis King has been the Director of Children’s Ministries since 2006. She loves working to make all aspects of the children’s ministry program a fun learning experience. On Janis’ reading list: All the new children’s curriculum. |
