We are excited to announce that Midweek Ministries will return Wednesday, September 16th at 6pm. Wednesday ministries provide an opportunity for people of all ages to gather for a mid-week re connection. This year, there will be many opportunities to reconnect through fellowship and Bible Study. Both of these components help us to, “Grow in Christ and Make a Difference”. Please note that adjustments have been made to help keep all participants safe and healthy.
There will be no Wednesday meal provided by the church. Families are more than welcome to bring their favorite take-out and gather around the tables in Fellowship Hall to visit and reconnect with others. You may entered through the coded door on Powell Street or the doors on Kansas Street.
“Kid Zone @ St. Luke’s” will be an opportunity for children up to 5th grade to gather from 6pm-6:45pm for fellowship, Bible study, outdoor games, etc. Please contact Janis King, Director of Children’s Ministries, for more information.
“Holy Conversations” will begin with Pastor Tom teaching a Bible study on the book of Micah on September 16th. Please bring your Bible and let’s plan to Grow in Christ together. “Holy Conversations” will continue in October with conversations from Habitat for Humanity, A.M.O.S., Family Promise, and Meals on Wheels. St. Luke’s continues to support these local ministries in different ways. Persons from each group will come to give us an update on each ministry, how St. Luke’s is making a difference and how we can continue to make a difference. Both of these studies will be livestreamed on our Facebook for those who are not ready to come back in person.
“Chancel Choir” rehearsals will take place from 7pm to 8 pm in the sanctuary. Childcare will be provided.
