Adult Ministries

St. Luke's currently offers 11 adult Sunday School classes meeting each week. A wide variety of learning opportunities are offered to meet the needs of our congregation. All classes seek to further biblical understanding, promote Christian values for living and encourage personal spiritual development. Throughout the school year, classes meet 9:45-10:40 a.m. During summer--Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend--classes are 9:15 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

YA-Way	Room 402	Our newest young adult class is a vibrant group that relishes discussion (and breakfast!). The group fosters engagement with faith and life. Singles and young marrieds form this opportunity for Christian fellowship.	20-35
Agape	Room 205	This group enjoys singing and has some very talented guitarists. They encourage conversation using a study guide related to biblical and/or topical themes.	50+
Befrienders	Room 207	Group discussions follow leader presentations. This class provides leadership in many of our outreach ministries.	55+
Builders	Lounge	Each Sunday begins with delicious, homemade goodies. The class uses a lecture-style format and enjoys thinking deeply about matters of faith and life.	65+
Crusaders	Room 209	Singles and couples make up this dynamic group. Stimulating conversation is guaranteed.	25 - 40
Epiphany	Room 404	Like the name of the class, this new group shines brightly. They value the gifts of fellowship and conversation on the shared journey of faith.	35-50
New Beginnings	Room 206	Great teachers facilitate class discussion. Fellowship and outreach are important.	55+
Genesis	Room 208	Lively conversation is a hallmark of this diverse group.	35-60
Keystone	Room 204	Each Sunday begins with singing from the Cokesbury hymnal. Teachers present excellent studies in a lecture-style format.	70+
Parables	Thompson House	This class meets around tables and encourages conversation. Leaders guide discussion. Each year they host church-wide seasonal breakfasts and a golf tournament to fund mission projects.	50-65
Sojourners	Room 400	This group enjoys reading and discussing books that challenge the mind and heart.	45+
