Body & Soul Wednesdays

Body & Soul Wednesdays are designed to nourish the body and spirit! Fellowship meals begin at 5 p.m., and enrichment classes and children's programs begin at 6:05 p.m. Body & Soul Wednesdays resume at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11.

If You Know Who You Are, You'll Know What To Do - Living With Integrity

Debbie Peacockis facilitating this opportunity based on a book by Ronald Greer.  In this four-week course we'll use stories and parables to place alongside our own life stories to see if it turns on any new lights or resonates with your life. We'll examine our moral integrity as well as our personal integrity, to be authentically the persons we were created to be: to live a life of wholeness, and to do what is right simply because we know it is the right thing to do.  Wednesdays, April 11-May 2, Room 208, 6:05-7:00 p.m.

 


Meals
Body & Soul Wednesday meals are served from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Prices are: $7 per adult, $4 for children 12 & under, $22 family maximum, $6 for seniors (62+). Delicious meals are prepared by the Gomez Catering Company. See the menu here.

Childcare
Nursery services are available for infants and toddlers from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and children of Chancel Choir members from 7:30-9 p.m.

All preschool and elementary-aged children are encouraged to join Crossroads.

ACTIVITIES
Children (children ages 3 yrs - 5th Grade)

Crossroads 6-7 p.m.
Crossroads… where music, art and faith intersect! Kids from 3 yrs - 5th grade are welcome each Wednesday night from 6-7 p.m. Crossroads music is in Room 303, Crossroads activities are in Room 309.
Crossroads Schedule:
6-6:30 p.m. Crossroads I (3 yrs – pre-k) Music; Crossroads II (K & 1st grade) Crafts & Bible lesson
6:30-7 p.m. Crossroads II (K & 1st grade) Music; Crossroads I (3 yrs – pre-k) Crafts & Bible lesson

SDG Kids (2nd – 5th grade)6-7 p.m.
Music. SDG (for Soli Deo Gloria, or “to God only be glory”) music includes singing and playing instruments (handchimes, guitars and percussion). We have fun along with learning the basics of music. The group presents a Christmas musical and a spring musical. Dickson Music Center.

Youth
Junior and Senior High Youth Bible Study will be held from 6:05-7:00 p.m., in the youth room, 210. 

Adults
Enrichment Classes  must be signed up for online. Most classes are offerred at no cost, but some classes may have books available for purchase.  Classes are from 6:05-7:00 p.m.

Chancel Choir provides musical leadership for the 10:50 a.m. worship service. Fall rehearsals resume at 7:30 p.m. Aug. in the Dickson Music Center. Rehearsals last until 9 p.m. and new members are welcome year-round. There is no audition. Large works are performed twice annually, and anthems represent a wide variety of styles and periods. Childcare is provided.

Bridge and 42 is full of dedicated players who meet every Wednesday, rain or shine, Room 206.

Needleworks is a great place to bring a project, or come to learn. These talented women are willing to teach beginners. Room 310.
